Paste a list of URLs and open them as tabs, a batch at a time. By default, each click opens up to 50. A URL that appears twice opens once. If your browser blocks a tab, the page stops, shows which URL was blocked, and shows how to allow pop-ups.
Key takeaways
- 50 per click by default. On a mobile browser, or in a window 600 px wide or less, the default is 1. You can enter any whole number from 1 up.
- 50 ms between tabs by default. You can set the interval to any whole number of milliseconds, 0 or more.
- Opened URLs leave the list. Click again to open the next batch.
- Duplicates open once. Entries that are not URLs are listed with a reason.
- Blocked tabs are named. The page shows the blocked URL and steps for your browser.
- Parsed in your browser. Opening a URL makes your browser visit that website.

How to open a list of URLs
Paste your URLs
Put one URL per line, or separate them with spaces or commas. You can also click Read a .txt or drop a text file on the box.
Check the line under the box
If some entries are duplicates or not URLs, a line under the box counts them. Click a count to see which lines they are on.
Click Open N URLs
The page opens the next batch as new tabs. Opened URLs leave the list, so click again for the next batch.
What happens to your list
Splitting. Line breaks, spaces, commas and semicolons separate URLs. Full-width commas (,), enumeration commas (、) and full-width semicolons (;) work too.
This tool is free.
Full-width characters. They are changed to normal characters before the list is read.
Missing https://. A URL typed without a scheme gets https:// added.
Duplicates. Two entries count as the same URL if they match after the browser normalises them, for example when only the letter case of the host differs. The first one opens. The others are marked "Duplicate of line N" and do not open.
Entries that are not URLs. They are listed with a reason. Text that does not look like a URL at all is counted as skipped text.
Live updates. The list is read again every time you change the text.
Batch size, interval and the list
URLs per batch. This is how many URLs one click opens. The default is 50. It is 1 if, when the page loads, the window is 600 px wide or less or a mobile browser is detected. Enter a whole number, 1 or more. If you enter something else, an error appears and the last valid number stays in use.
Interval. This is the pause between two URLs in the same batch, in milliseconds. The default is 50. Enter a whole number, 0 or more.
Remove opened URLs. This box is checked by default, and opened URLs are removed from the list. If you uncheck it, opened URLs stay in the list and each click opens the next batch. After the whole list has been opened, the next click starts again from the top.
While it runs. The box shows progress, for example "Opening 3 of 50", and the main button changes to Stop. Stop ends the batch after the current URL.
After a click. A summary shows how many URLs opened, how many were blocked and how many are not opened yet. When every URL has opened, it shows "All opened" and the time.
Clear. It empties the box and resets the counts and the summary.
Leaving the page. If you have opened some URLs and others are still waiting, the browser asks you to confirm before you close or reload the page.
If your browser blocks the tabs
Your browser may block new tabs. When it does:
- The batch stops at the first blocked URL.
- The page shows "Your browser blocked a new tab" and the blocked URL as a link.
- It names your browser and shows steps for it. Chrome and Microsoft Edge get steps for their "Pop-ups and redirects" setting. Safari, Firefox and other browsers get general steps. You can pick another browser to see its steps.
- The main button changes to Reopen N URLs. Allow pop-ups for this site, then click it.
An extension such as AdBlock or uBlock can also block new tabs. If it does, check its permissions for this site.
Where your URL list is processed
The note at the bottom of the tool says: "The URL list is parsed in your browser. Opening a URL makes your browser visit that website."
The list exists only in the open page. Close or reload the page and the list is gone.
The only thing this page stores on your device is your Favorite. It saves the tool ID, not your URL list.
When to use it
Good fit:
- You have a list of http or https URLs to open as tabs.
- Your list mixes lines, spaces and commas.
- You want to open URLs in batches, not the whole list at once.
- Your list has duplicates.
Not a good fit:
- You want the list kept for next time. It is gone when you close the page.
- You do not want to allow pop-ups for this site.
Input, settings and output
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Input | A text box. Type, paste, or drop one file on it. |
| Files | Read a .txt accepts .txt and .csv files. A dropped file is read as text. Only the first file is used. Up to 2 MB. |
| URLs per batch | Default 50 (1 on mobile). Whole number, 1 or more. |
| Interval | Default 50 ms. Whole number, 0 or more. |
| Remove opened URLs | Checked by default. |
| List length | No limit on the number of URLs in the list. |
| Output | New tabs, and a summary of opened, blocked and not opened yet. |
A file over 2 MB shows "This file is over 2 MB — split it into smaller ones first." A file that cannot be read shows "This file can’t be read (it may not be a text file)."
Entries that are held back
These are listed as not URLs, with a reason:
- Protocol not allowed - the entry starts with javascript:, data:, file:, vbscript: or blob:, or with another scheme such as ftp://.
- Incomplete domain - the host has no dot, as in http://localhost.
- Can’t be read - the browser cannot parse it as a URL.
These are counted as skipped text instead: mailto: and tel: links, and a bare domain whose ending is not on the official list of top-level domains.
Click a count to see each entry with its line number and reason. Click it again to close the list.
Frequently asked questions
How many URLs does one click open?
50 by default, or 1 on a mobile browser or a narrow window. You can change it in "URLs per batch" to any whole number from 1 up.
Can I add a delay between tabs?
Yes. "Interval" sets the pause between URLs in the same batch. The default is 50 ms.
My browser blocked the tabs. What do I do?
The page shows the blocked URL and steps for your browser. Allow pop-ups for this site, then click Reopen N URLs.
Do I have to type https:// in front of each URL?
No. A URL without a scheme gets https:// added.
Will a URL that appears twice open twice?
No. It opens once, and the copies are marked as duplicates.
Can I open URLs from a file?
Yes. Click Read a .txt to choose a .txt or .csv file, or drop a file on the box. Files can be up to 2 MB.
Is my URL list uploaded or saved?
The list is parsed in your browser and is gone when you close the page. Opening a URL makes your browser visit that website.
