Signed-in sessions use an HttpOnly, SameSite cookie. HTTPS production environments also use Secure and the __Host- prefix.
Local preferences
The language preference is stored in localStorage, not a cookie. This version does not use advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies.

If non-essential cookies are added, appropriate notice, choice, and withdrawal controls should be provided first.
